June 2022: CFUW Yorkton Co-presidents—Ms. McKen, Ms. Stechyshyn make a donation to Ms. Villeneuve, nutrition co-ordinator, and Ms. Klemetski, principal at St. Mary’s School for their nutrition program.
June 2022: CFUW Yorkton Co-presidents Ms. Stechyshyn presents Eileen Harvey with a certificate recognizing her "40 years of valued service to CFUW". Eileen Harvey is also a past president of CFUW Yorkton.
June 20, 2022: CFUW Yorkton held their Annual General Meeting.
February 15, 2022: CFUW Yorkton hosted a public event (via Zoom), "The Effect of Colonization Through Provincial Legislation" from guest speaker, Mary Cuthbertson, Treaty Commissioner of Saskatchewan. This event was part of CFUW Yorkton's series "Advocacy in Action".
October 14-16, 2021: CFUW Yorkton Book Sale at the Yorkton Public Library. This event is in partnership with the Yorkton Public Library.
August 2019: CFUW Yorkton member Margaret Cugnet receives a CFUW Notable Women Awards for her notable contributions to the mission and goals of the organization.
Margaret Cugnet, “Miss CFUW” for more than 50 years to CFUW Yorkton, checked newspapers for prospective members and welcomed women with “You should join CFUW; you’ll like it”. Under her Presidency the Yorkton Regional Library and Kindergarten program were promoted and established. She served on program Committees, was Saskatchewan Regional Director and National Board member, and loved attending CFUW AGMs and IFUW Triennials. Community minded, Margaret taught synchronized swimming, and served on Boards for: Provincial Synchro Swim, Westview United Church, Globe Theatre and Saskatchewan Arts . She was President of the Yorkton Arts Council and instrumental in producing the first performing arts series in Yorkton, now the Stars for Saskatchewan concert series. She was a member of the Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) and helped establish “Koncerts for Kids”. In 1990 she was Yorkton’s citizen of the year and in 2005, Margaret was the recipient of the Lieutenant Governor’s Celebration of the Arts pin and the Saskatchewan Centennial Medal for her involvement in the Arts.

August 24, 2015: CFUW Yorkton president, Eileen Harvey, speaks to Yorkton City Council requesting September 14 be declared "Canadian Federation of University Women's Day" in Yorkton. Yorkton City Council voted and proclaims September 14 "Canadian Federation of University Women's Day" in Yorkton. September 14, 2013 was declared "Canadian Federation of University Women's Day" in Saskatchewan by Don Morgan, Q.C., Minister of Advanced Education and June Draude, Minister Responsible for the Status of Women in the Province of Saskatchewan. A brunch, hosted by CFUW Yorkton, was held on September 14 to celebrate the event, guests included the Deputy Mayor of Yorkton, Ross Fisher, and Chief Executive Officer of the Godfrey Dean Art Gallery, Don Stein.
